    Msx roms not working after i changed bios machine

      I have alot of msx roms working in my raspberry pi 3 , but when i enter retroarch menu inside one of the game i changed the bios machine by mistake , so now the msx roms not working it gives me black screen and restart to main menu and i can't enter the retroarch menu (inside the games) to change back the bios , so what can i do to change back the setting to make the roms working again ,,,,,, HELP PLEASE , i am new here , and not experience for retropie

        Please add the information from https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - which release/RA version are you using ?

          @thepianist80 try playing an msx 1 game. Then change the bios back.

            @edmaul69 i can't change it , because retroarch menu will not work if the game not working (it gives black screen and return to main menu )

              @thepianist80 most bios’ you set should work and boot the game if it is an msx 1 rom and not msx 2 or msx2+ roms. Otherwise open up the file /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-core-options.cfg and fix the bios section for the msx emulator you are using.

                    @thepianist80 go to commandline and type:

                    sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-core-options.cfg
                    

                    look for the line:

                    bluemsx_msxtype = 
                    

                    and change whatever it is set as to:

                    bluemsx_msxtype = "MSX2+"
                    

                    caps are important.
