The most recent console I have is Wii. I don’t play that much though. I get motion sicknes from first person games. Retro games are best for me because I don’t really have the time for long sessions and games that take 100+ hours to finish. I really like to play random retro games for the quick fix but also replay a lot of old games. It’s more relaxing when I know what to expect and akso know the mechanics, that way I can go straight to playing instead of learning how to play. I wish I had a Switch, that one seems pretty cool.

As of current this is my little list. Some of those are being played more recently that others as my time is limited.

        PS4 - Gta V / 7 days to Die / Farcry 4/ Diablo 3 with Expansion
GBA Modded by me(AGS101 screen) / Castlevania Aria of Sorrow / Tony Hawk Underground / Need for Speed Underground 2

I also like games with simple controls that you can play without having to spend a lot of time getting to know the gameplay, hence why so many of the good old arcade games are still popular. I might also experiment with other games series such as Mega man and Zelda.

        Greetings from Denmark. :-)

Developer of install scripts for ports such as Hexen 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Caesar III. See my other projects at my profile.

It’s a bit marmite, but I find myself spending too much time playing No Mans Sky. It’s the sort of game you can just bimble along with, doing whatever takes your fancy. Not as versatile as GTA5 for example, where every type of gameplay is pretty much there, but it’s calm, or exciting, depending on how you approach it.
Plus regular updates are adding so much content it’s making me stray from retro somewhat.

Minecraft. I'm running a server with a friend that still has the same world since Beta 1.8 in fall 2011. For the world features of newer versions, one has to travel to areas that haven't been procedurally generated, yet.

I’m at a gamesexpo right now. I can’t find anything I would like to play. Got a bit motionsick from just watching SCGO. This is serious, I’m getting old.

I'm playing rdr 2 on ps4 pro now, probably gonna do that for a long time.. Before that some cod blops 4, far cry 5, nino kuni 2, bf1 and tekken 7. Hollow Knight and botw still get some play time on the switch. (My nes/snes/c64 minis and my pie's are fun to mod and thinker with, but if I'm playing retro its mostly on my arcades..)

@magallaher yeah it's amazing! (although the "realistic" controls and this hdr clusterf*ck debate is a bit annoying..)

Currently, I am not playing much anything (retro or new gen). I played Team Fortress 2 for a long time, then CS:GO, then 2 years Overwatch and PUBG and Paladins a little. When I got bored, I came to RetroPie. :-) Besides retro, I recently started playing GTA V and Rise of Tomb Raider, to complete them at least once. I really enjoyed Redout. If you are a couch player with friends, Towerfall Ascension was one of the best multiplayer local games in last 20 years. I am about to start one of the newest PokeMon games on the 3DS, I think Sun.

Besides retrogaming, I sometimes play World of Warships online (I'm Buck_Meatmissile on WoWS, clan TSG4). I still play Final Fantasy 15 and Disgaea 5 on PS4. Waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out (and not suck).

You've just started GTA V, really? Well, you have the whole new world to discover. I spent days in this game.
For now, my passion is RDR 2. Another awesome piece of gaming by Rockstar.

@magallaher No, not really. I got the game for X-Box 360 when it came out and just played a little and then sell it to a friend, because I had hardware problems and could not play further and the save game was lost. Later I got it for the PC on my new PC and started to play more seriously. After 20 hours or so I had problems once again and the save game was lost. I don't know why me, but thats life. Now I decided to play the game through once and for all (with upgraded graphics card)! (And hopefully everything is fine now.^^)

@magallaher Love the IJN cruiser, Zao is my favorite. Although I love the Yamato's ability to pen absolutely anything no mater how its target is facing you. My best win rates come from the smaller IJN cruisers, like the Kuma. Kuma is my absolute favorite ship.

Yeah, ZAO is a complete annihilator. And Yamato is like "oneshot" master. I remember punches for 50-75K from Yamato.
Also, I've just finished heavy American cruisers and Des Moines is a total fire machine.
Now I am on my way to Montana and German tier 10 battleship.
