      Hello fellow friends,
i recently bought myself a Raspberry 3B+ to finally be able to play all those nice old Games (e.g. I'm a delight fan of the old Pokemon Games I could play on my GBC when I was a kid, Pokemon Yellow was my first love ^^ )

In those glorious old times I also have had a Gamepad Logitech Wingman Extreme for my PC. I loved that kind of ergonomics of that Keypad... i never could get fond of the design of the old Xbox/360 Controller always felt strange to my sloppy/floppy bear paws.

So I'm now desperately on the hunt for something alike that old Logitech Wingman Extreme with an actual reasonable price to about 25-35€. Therefore the new quite nice to handle Xbox One Controllers are of the game with their pricing ++50€ . It would be lovely if the controller would be wireless - It OK if it's using an already supplied USB-Dongle or Bluetooth.
The only real thing I'm quite picky about is the feeling of the D-Pad it should be nice but not too firm.

Now my actual question, does anyone know some recommendations fitting my purposes here?
Ahh I hope someone could help me here, because with all that cloned/china stuff at Amazon and Co. I'm just totally overwhelmed in this decision making processes .

      Thanks in regards

Original PS3 controllers work fine, and are automatically recognized, but why a stick

A lot of people go with a real arcade joystick or build an arcade board and cover everything it one panel

I stumbled now more or less onto this controller. It seems multi-branded (other seller like Nacon, EasySMX, etc.)
            It is the Speedlink Torid:
            Amazon Link
            Manufacturer

Does anybody have used that controller already?

@h2oo I think @VictimRLSH uses an EasyMSX adapter, according to the signature in the posts. If the controller touts Xbox/PC compatibility, it probably supports Xinput, which should be recognised by Linux with the xpad driver.

@mitu Yeah, it's recognized as an xbox 360 controller so you shouldn't have a problem with it. The blue circle in the middle isn't to change button modes but what it is recognized as, but I don't need to use it.

Here it is on my prototype controller mount build. Really loving this build, going to finalize it soon.

                  That's great to hear.
May i ask if a "wired" mode is possible with that controller or did you just plug it it for charging?

@VictimRLSH i read already about the xpad drivers so i guess i could manage that myself
