I'm wondering if I can pair a Bluetooth controller to the Pi. Is it even possible?? If that's the case how many of them at the same time? And again if that's the case would one of these work??

Yes, it's possible.

There's not a limit on the number, although if you intend to add more controllers a dedicated BT USB dongle is recommended. The 3B+ model has a better wireless chip, so a dongle might not be necessary anymore.

These might work, although at the price they're listed I wouldn't expect a quality item. Any Dualshock 3/4 would work and - they're not as cheap as the ones you posted though.

@mitu given the price tag I know for sure they are not a quality item by any means. However, they will only be used from time to time... Maybe even twice a year or so.

So my only concern is whether they will even work and get paired rightly or not.

So in this case would you give them a go just considering they work or not? If it just works is fine.

The concern is that they can't be even paired...

Would you recommend any alternatives?
