MAME Paddle Controller Input Guide
-
I'm sorry to bang the board today, guys, but unfortunately, I have issues. I would like to get the Atari Paddle Controllers I purchased to work w/'Tempest' & 'Warlords' arcade in lr-MAME2003. When I open Retroarch options in lr-MAME2003, I see Retropad & Retropad w/Analog. I don't see the Atari Paddles. Do I need to use another version of MAME?
Also, once I get MAME to see Atari Paddles, how do I do select/start w/the paddles? Is there a config for the Paddle that allows to use another controller for the arcade inputs/hotkey? I've Googled, and there's no information on how exactly you get the Atari Paddles to work, just that they work.

At the moment, MAME 2003-Plus has more advanced support for analog input devices. It is currently in testing, although after about six weeks the new analog input features have been tested by a fair number of users.
