@Baz Change the Gamelist View Style to Video in the UI settings and you might get video.

Hi, having an issue where the whole screen background goes black when I change systems (i.e. hit left and right) almost like it's reloading the background image. Also the "x games available" text takes a minute to load in. Is this a configuration issue or something else going wrong?

Thanks so much for this amazing theme.

@megasweet My guess is you have the transition style in EmulatonStation set to 'fade'. Press start to go to the EmulationStation options. Select 'UI Settings'. Then change 'Transition style' to 'instant'.

@ruckage How would I go about adding an icon for a system? I'm using Dolphin for emulating Gamecube, but there isn't an icon included in the theme.

That was the case. Thanks for the tip!

Hi. Unfortunately not a simple task as it require several images to add a new system. You need an icon, a logo, and 2 different background images.
I will however be adding more systems soon so keep an eye on this thread for when I start asking for new system requests.

                    I dig your work @ruckage.

Do you draw these icons from scratch ? what's your work flow ?

Hi @ruckage, is your theme compatible with Recalbox's emulationsystem ?
We didn't see you for months on the forum so that's why I'm asking here.

@scott1986 I know this theme is designed to work with 1080P only. The assets are not really designed to be scaled down to lower resolutions. Especially a super lower res screen. I use GBZ35 theme on my gameboy build and it works really well for low res screens.

@lostless actually the snes mini theme is compatible with multiple different resolutions. In the customisation guide it lists them. It can then be changed in the config.xml.

@quicksilver the resolution of the screen is: 320x240
@lostless I use GBZ35 theme too but believe me the snes mini theme by @ruckage is my fav.
@quicksilver I change the resolution in config.xml but nothing.

@scott1986 I checked, it looks like 640x480 is the lowest supported resolution.

Now that the grid view is in the final ES branch would be possible to add theming for it in this theme?

@ash786i The same way you'd add any theme - go into the RetroPie system in Emulationstation, then open the ES Themes menu and select the theme you want to install to add it to your installed themes.
