      I'd like to approach adding some modification to the RetroPie version of ZDoom. I'm not familiar with any projects working towards OpenGL/GZDoom on RetroPie, so I'd like to add a few improvements to the current ZDoom build. The last good build I'm aware of is 2.8.0 and after following the suggestions of another user, I noticed that there might be areas to improve when it comes to controller setup. I want to modify the key mappings from the last good commit on the retropie branch to help improve the experience so that mods such as Brutal Doom are still playable until GZDoom graces us with its presence. This is only a change to how the buttons interact in menu, in game, and on any other screens that need specific or input from the controller.
