      As specific launch options are available for the Commodore Vic-20 I'd suggest to provide it as own system, separated from C64, in the ES systems menu.
      Apart from modifying es_systems.cfg and dedicated system logo in svg (already available ;-) ), it would require also a specific vic20 'Platform' for scraping to be added to PlatformIds.cpp.
      I have no idea how to add a new platform ID to allow vic20 cartridge scraping.
