I bet this has been discused a lot of times here, but the few post i managed to find where not helpful, maybe bad luck with google.

Is there support for at least basic audible feedback when navigating EmulationStation? (Carousel scroll/select and system gamelist scroll/select/back)
As far i investigated i can only put a scrollsound for (gamelist), and with some tinkering and/or scripts a BGM.
      The thing is:
-Is there a way to put more sounds?
      -If yes, how?
      -If not, why?

No, Emulationstation doesn't have support for other sounds other than the gamelist navigation (scrolling through games).
