Built From: Pre made SD image from official Retropie website

Use a recent image - like the 4.4 release, 4.2 is over 2 years old.

@idk To install the 4.4 image, yes - you'll have to install it again on the SD card. You can backup your ROMs first - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/#making-a-backup-option-2 - then write the 4.4 image on the sdcard.

@idk How did you write the image in the first place ? https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/#installation.

@idk you dont have to erase the card. When you install the new image, etcher will format the card.

@edmaul69 wouldn’t that mess up the micro sd card. Because there would be 2 retropies

@idk no. It completely formats the card erasing the old one.

@idk From the RetroPie-Setup menu entry in Emulationstation - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Updating-RetroPie/.
