      Hi All.

I'm having a strange issue running the script of lr-fbalpha under a PC x64 ubuntu machine with 18.04.2 version.

It builds successfuly but it terminates with an error of fbalpha_libretro.so not found

      ** BUILD SUCCESSFUL! **
      ~/RetroPie-Setup
Could not successfully build lr-fbalpha - Arcade emu - FB Alpha (FB Edition) v0.2.97.44 (WIP) port for libretro (~/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/lr-fbalpha/src/burner/libretro/fbalpha_libretro.so not found).

      https://pastebin.com/embed_js/fyKFbG19

      How to solve it?

@francisko77 The FBAlpha project has been going through a bit or re-organization and it's called FinalBurn Neo right now - https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/2710. The Libretro core has been renamed and the scriptmodule will have to be updated to reflect that. As a consequence, the installation from source will not work since the name of the core is renamed:

Edit: realizing sarcasm doesn't transfer that well via text....that was supposed to be a sarcastic response.

I hope they, in the end manage to make this positive!

Doing a fresh x86 install and noticed this myself, came here to find out what's up. So how do we prompt a dev to get that setup script updated?

@liquid-shane-o the old fbalpha core hasn't been part of RetroPie for more than 2 years, as noted in this topic. If you still get this error, you're probably using a very old and out-of-date RetroPie version.
