@megaJekan looks like a bad rom/game dump. Can you try witha different rom ?

@mitu OK, I will check European version. Maybe it will work. But I have already tried 3 different images of the game, all of them caused crash.

@megaJekan Hm, in this case there might be a different problem.

So, in the interest of science, I tested it also and got the same crash. The problem seems to be in the emulator, not in any configuration you have. If I disable the Dynamic Recompiler from the core options, the game progresses past the selection screen and the match starts, but as soon as I enable it back, it crashes. Unfortunately, as expected, disabling the dynarec option makes the game unplayably slow on the Pi.

@mitu thanks for checking. European version crashes as well, by the way. Does it make sense for me to try debugging the source code?

Hi there ! glad to have found this page because I faced the same problem recently. Tried many different rom versions, but yeah, each time I try to select a character and start a match, it crashes during the loading screen.
Quite the same config btw, Raspberry Pi 3B+, 32 gb SanDisk Micro SD. Emulator, lr-pscx-rearmed.

If you or anyone else can help, it would be greatly appreciated :)
WWF In Your House, alongside with WWF Wrestlemania were my 2 favorites wrestling games back then.

not sure, but maybe this game is not compatible with pcsx_Rearmed just like few other games.

I will take a look where it crashes as soon as I have time. Yup, these 2 wrestling games are amazing. It was a disaster to have WWFIYH not running, because I planned a 4-players battle (which is not that often supported by a PS1 fighting game).

Tried again with a fresh image last night and it still crashes annoyingly.

It's the one WWF game that does not work :(

                                    options

Are you sure you're using lr-PCSX-rearmed I don't see any DYNAMIC RECOMPILER option.

                                        yep yes.
go in the game to your retrorach im using start and triangle .
                                        from then -
                                        quick menu
                                        options
                                        DYNAMIC RECOMPILER
                                        OFF !
still u wont be able really to play its really chopy with off.
if u trying to put it back in time battle it goes out.
mtv celebrity deathmatch works good for that fix if u do .

@shavecat that's what I did, there is not DYNAMIC RECOMPILER option. Maybe some options are hidden?

are u sure u did it in the game it self when its on ?
quick menu .... and so ?
                                            there is options there .
Try update your Retrorach from there maybe will help.
