I'm trying to get Dolphin to work properly on my Nuc 7 with Ubuntu x86 but fail to do so.
It's pretty much stuttering and low FPS.

I thought the Nuc was powerful enough but maybe it isn't?
      Any tips?

        Hi!
There are many possible solutions to your problem.

First of all, you should always try to use the Vulkan Graphical Backend for all of your games.

In addition, if you turned on vsync make sure you run the games in the same resolution as the ubuntu-desktop. Not doing so results in very low FPS counts.

You can adjust those settings per game within the games .ini file. They can be created at /opt/retropie/configs/gc/GameSettings/XXXX.ini per game.

There is a complete documentation regarding gameini files for dolphin wihtin the dolphin wiki: Dolphin wiki -> GameINI (https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=GameINI)
