Okay so I was wondering what can be done to a retropie install to lighten the resource load. That of course is if there is anything that can be done at all.

Is there anything within the users control that will benefit/impact the pies performance? Do things like having the scraped data or a particular theme help/hurt the pies performance?

      Thanks,
      BC

@battlecat having less Roms/images/scraped data will make emulationstation more responsive in some situations, but that's about it.

You can try expanding the OS partition and run games off of another SD card or flash drive, or just overclocking your Pi to your liking. Overclocking can degrade the life of your Pi though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I figured it would not hurt to ask.

My RP3 is working great so far no issues.
