      Hi, anyone got retroPi to work on a PI4 yet? The image form the Pi3 does not work (does on my Pi3), upon boot there is no signal and the ACT light doesnt flash to indicate not booting

        @g0ldingkev there is no working retropie image for the pi 4 yet. The devs are working towards it but its still early stages and there is no ETA yet.

          I did a manual install of Retropie on top of Raspbian Buster on my Pi 4 and most of the packages, except the nintendo64 emulator, installed successfully but Emulation Station just brings up a black screen. Is there anyway to launch ROMs without ES or fix the black screen?

            @geekinchief As it was explained in the other topic you opened a few days back and is also explained here, the Pi4 is not supported at the moment by RetroPie.
            There's more than just Emulationstation than needs modification and testing for it to make it work, so just bypassing the front-end would not be enough.
