      After i made a post regarding scraper platform not being set i figured another way to scrape for custom systems.

      assuming you already added a new system

      <system>
          <name>mortall</name>
          <fullname>mortal kombat</fullname>
          <path>/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/kombat</path>
          <extension>.7z .cue .fba .iso .zip .7Z .CUE .FBA .ISO .ZIP</extension>
          <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 _SYS_ mame-libretro %ROM%</command>
          <platform>arcade</platform>
          <theme>kombat</theme>
        </system>

      create a roms folder

      **/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/kombat**

      next we going to be using mame-libretro roms folder make it empty and put your roms in here.

      /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-libretro

      now press F4 and select skyscraper and scrape only mame-libretro,after scrape is done move on to the next step.

      go to

      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists

      create a empty folder name it mortall
      now go to this path

      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/downloaded_media

      create a folder name mortall
      go to mame-libretro folder in same path copy all content to mortall

      now open

      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/mame-libretro

      copy gamelists.xml to

      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/mortall

      open the gamelists.xml in pc edit the path and upload it.
      your done,restart and check.
      after you are done just delete all content in

      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/mame-libretro
      /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/downloaded_media/mame-libretro
      /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/mame-libretro

      this will work for all other systems.
