I have a PS4, and I just recently put together a portable retropie system. I connected my controller with Bluetooth and everything seemed to work fine until I entered into any game. I could use all the menus and choose which game I wanted, but whenever I got in one it just didn’t work. If anyone knows what’s going on, I would love the help.

Looks like you controller is not configured or the game/emulator you started is not one that's automatically configured. Can you give more details about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

Did you configure the controller in Emulationstation, after you configured it through Bluetooth ?

@mitu Yes, I did configure it in emulation station, but every time I enter a game it still doesn’t let me press anything. It says push A to configure before each game, so should I press that and try to configure the controller there?

Ok, so I just figured it out. For some reason my controller was player 2 so I switched it back to player one using https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/RetroPie/comments/6003hk/switch_controller_player_number/ and it was a big help
