I need help with Rertropie login

All was installed good and played then l went and install something in the experimental stuff (stupid me) then l logged off then turned on the pi but it keeps going in pi@retropie:~ $ please can someone help me. I have a keyboard to my pi.

Maybe you disabled the auto-boot to emulationstation, though looking at your command line mishaps I see you managed to type emulationstation and you didn't get a response.

As a rule of thumb - commands are case sensitive in Linux, so retropie-setup is not the same as RetroPie-Setup . Try

sudo $HOME/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh

and that will start the setup script. Re-install Emulationstation from the setup and then reboot.
