        As I said, this functionality doesn't exist right now - but what's your use case ? Why do you need such feature ?

              I can see a little "Launch game with X button. Exit with Start + Select" as a little pop-up note upon arriving at the system menu. Might be a useful reminder for guests using Retropie as we may be familiar but a guest user at a household may not be. Guess I'm picturing the Run Command box pop-up with the info and a dismiss option under; sort of like the run command initiates an echo message on startup. Ignore me; just thinking out loud.

                  That doesn't make sense to me.

                    @Daistaar Some part of that already exists in the Help menu, which shows the navigation commands, how to launch/favorite a game. The runcommand idea can be something helpful, though I'd use a launching image with that tooltip and hide the main toolbox.

                      @mitu That's actually pretty darn genius. I tend to have nephews and younger cousins over and they'll play in the game room in the basement, and this would really mitigate a lot of "How do I exit?" calls downstairs lol. Think I've gotta hit Photoshop now lol.

                        @Daistaar I'd recommend @Rookervik's launching images as a starting point - https://github.com/ehettervik/es-runcommand-splash.
