      RPI 3B+
      2.5A Powersupply
      Wave Share Game HAT
      64 Gigbyte SD card

      I have been at this a long time and I really need help now. I have installed the drivers correctly, I have installed joy stick drivers and I still have not luck figuring this out. The SD card I use has a lot of configuration for games and such, so I used it instead of using a different and fresh card. When going to set up controls it says "no game pads detected". Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.

          @kakel

          I'm having the same issue. I got it to work on one of my sd cards so I know the driver is installed correctly. Anyone got a workaround?

            Hi,

            Try the followings process :

            • install mk_arcade_joystick_rpi driver from ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh
            • edit /etc/modprobe.d/mk_arcade_joystick_rpi.conf adding the following line :
            options mk_arcade_joystick_rpi map=5 gpio=5,6,13,19,21,4,26,12,23,20,16,18
