Lr-mupen64plus doesnt work on my pi zero
-
Pi Model or other hardware: pi zero w in GPi case
Power Supply used: AA batteries
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.5.3
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected:
Controller used: GPi case
Error messages received:
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): https://pastebin.com/FSjF5peX
Emulator: lr-mupen64plus (current binary version, though I have tried updating from source as well)
How to replicate the problem:Lr-mupen64plus will not run on my pi zero, crashes back to ES. I ran with verbose logging and I noticed there is an illegal instruction but Im not sure whats causing it.
Edit: Ill add that this rom works just fine on my pi 3B+ with same emulator.

Can you check (via checksum) that the ROM is valid ? Looks like a bad rom from the logs. Did you try loading it with
mupen64plus
- the standalone emulator ? -
Ill check the checksum, but the same rom loads using the standalone mupen64plus. This rom also works on my pi3b+ using lr-mupen64plus.
I should note that I cannot get any of my N64 roms to run using lr-mupen64plus on my pi zero (they work fine on my 3b+)

Then it means the ROM is fine, the error comes from somewhere else.

@mitu oh well, mupen64plus performance is very poor on my pi zero (even overclocked) so I suspect lr-mupen64plus will be even worse so its probably not worth my time to dig to much deeper with it :)
