I installed amiberry following ETA PRIME guide:

when I try to load a game it come back to emulationstation.
      the log says:

      Parameters:
      Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/amiberry/amiberry.sh auto "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga/Another_World.lha"
./amiberry: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2_image-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don't recommend 3rd party video guides. You need to provide more details - I suspect you didn't update RetroPie-Setup first

Manually installing libsdl2-image-dev should also fix it.

@Chuck_B you do before updating packages to guarantee you get all changes. You can just update the RetroPie-Setup script first before installing/updating a package.

Amiberry changed significantly and it needs to install new libraries.
