I bought a board that attaches to my Retropie and it requires I install a script to run it. The script is pulled from a website, and they just want you to copy and paste a long string of data into several menus (would take FOREVER to type by hand in the terminal). What is the best way to access this from the Pi so I can just simply copy/paste what I need in a few seconds?

Enable SSH and use Putty to run commands from your PC - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/SSH/.

I use pixel desktop in ports menu on retropie to copy and paste all my files through a pendrive (formatted as fat32). It's just like windows. It's the fastest and easiest way to transfer files to a Pi. Although, I am using motionblue version which comes with pre installed "pixel desktop" port. But, I am sure that you can install it manually through extra install packages as well on retropie.
No need to enable SSH, WIFI, ADDITIONAL DESKTOP ETC. I have even transferred BIOS files through pen drive. Everything works.

Using putty worked beautifully. Such a time saver, once you can figure out the technical part of getting everything set up (but I already had SSH going for my FTP client, so I was good there). Thanks!
