ok this might be a pain for you, and im sorry.
but wipe everything out of the runcommmand.

save it in a txt file of course.

i want to see if there is something overriding what we are trying to do, cuz what you posted should of changed when you changed the mapping

          also you have xboxdrv installed

reboot after you wiped the file

start scrumm get in a game and see if the controller does anything like before

it should not do athing not even the triggers with f5 and space

                        @escc1986

                        no clue.

at with what you showed me. those keys should not do anything.
unless our setup is not working and those are just set up from the devs of scumm

so since you have nothing in the run command
we can do a different way of testing

                        with a game running

                        put this in putty

                        /opt/retropie/supplementary/xboxdrv/bin/xboxdrv \
                        	--evdev /dev/input/event0 \
                        	--silent \
                        	--detach-kernel-driver \
                        	--force-feedback \
                        	--mimic-xpad \
                        	--trigger-as-button \
                        	--evdev-absmap ABS_HAT0X=dpad_x,ABS_HAT0Y=dpad_y \
                            --evdev-keymap KEY_#305=a,KEY_#304=b,KEY_#307=x,KEY_#308=y,KEY_#310=tl,KEY_#311=tr,KEY_#314=back,KEY_#315=start \
                        	--ui-axismap dpad_x=REL_X:10,dpad_y=REL_Y:10 \
                        	--ui-buttonmap a=BTN_LEFT,b=BTN_RIGHT,start=KEY_F5,back=KEY_ESC \
                        	--ui-buttonmap guide=void,x=void,y=void,lb=void,rb=void,tl=void,tr=void,lt=void,rt=void,back=void \
                        	--ui-axismap x2=void

                        this a shortcut on testing
