    Pi4 stuck in 4:3 aspect ratio after running DraStic [SOLVED]

      I am using a pi 4 running retropie 4.5.13. I have set

      hdmi_group=1 
hdmi_mode=16

      to enable 1080p mode and everything was working fine for the past few weeks. I played a few games using DraStic last night before bed and left my pi on overnight in emulation station. This morning when I turned on my TV I noticed that the display appeared squashed like it was running in 4:3 aspect ratio. When I check the tv's display resolution it reports 1920x1078 which is very puzzling. Rebooting the pi doesnt help and it appears to still be stuck in 4:3 aspect ratio.

        I did a power cycle/reset on my TV which seems to have fixed the issue. Im guessing my TV may have done an automatic update overnight which may have caused the issue in the first place.
