    Dear All,

    I'm trying to install RetroPie on OMSC using:
    https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup.git

    During installation, I have the following problem:

    = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
    Installing dependencies for 'emulationstation' : EmulationStation - Frontend used by RetroPie for launching emulators
    = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

    Did not find needed dependencies: omxplayer. Trying to install them now.

    .......

    Could not install package(s): omxplayer.

    It looks that omxplayer is no longer available in repository.

    Is there any workaround for that?

        Thank you for answer:
        I use RPI3 hardware

        I run the following commands:
        grep Kodi .kodi/temp/kodi.log | head -3

          Hi all!

          I'm facing the same issue. Just tried to install it today and wasn't successful at first.

          Here's my system info to add to the previous one:

          $ grep Kodi .kodi/temp/kodi.log | head -3
          2020-03-29 18:32:43.748 T:1915442736  NOTICE: Starting Kodi (18.6). Platform: Linux ARM (Thumb) 32-bit
          2020-03-29 18:32:43.748 T:1915442736 NOTICE: Using Release Kodi x32 build (version for Raspberry Pi)
          2020-03-29 18:32:43.748 T:1915442736  NOTICE: Kodi compiled 2020-03-20 by GCC 6.3.0 for Linux ARM (Thumb) 32-bit version 4.9.110 (264558)

          $ grep VERSION_ID /etc/os-release
          VERSION_ID="2020.03-1"

          However, in case anybody ends up here in the meantime, I did manage to solve the installation of emulstation with the instructions on https://github.com/hissingshark/retrOSMCmk2/issues/5
