lr fba next System Menu key remapping
-
Hi, I would like to know how I can remap the key necessary to go in to FBA system menu.
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/lr-fba-next
Here I can get into the system menu by holding Start for a few seconds.
I would like to change it from the Start button to another set of button/s.
There are some games where you may need to hold start to access a certain features (KOF 98, Marvel vs Capcom, etc)
The wiki does not says where to change this.
Thanks!

@Cloudius it's a retroarch core option. select + retropadX to get to retroarch menu, then quick menu > options > it's in there somewhere.
do you think we should change the default? if any of those alternative combos look good we could change it :)

HI,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I was able to locate said option. Unfortuantely, the Hold Select option was not working for me (which would have been ideal for me). The select button is also my coin button. Not sure if this causes the System menu not to activate. At the moment, I have set it to Start+A+B (this button combination still affects Marvel vs Capcom).
No clue if it is a bug or not.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

i think possibly - this might conflict with another fix that allows the hotkey to be the same as the insert coin button (or any button)
At the moment, I have set it to Start+A+B (this button combination still affects Marvel vs Capcom).
i could possibly make another combo available in the code, but i'm not sure of a suitable one that won't conflict with at least one game! :(

Perhaps, if possible, allow the amount of ticks/time required to activate the system menu to be changeable or allowed to be tweaked. Currently, the time to activate the system menu is relatively short. If I could make it longer, then all will be good.
