RetroPie won't recognize the PS3 controller as controller #1.... Does 2, 3 and 4.

I only have 3 controllers. I can't get RetroPie to change any of them to controller #1, which is as you probably already know, the "admin" controller. You cannot "start" any game with controller #2, 3 or 4.

Never had this problem before. This afternoon I picked up my usual controller, moved around in RetroPie a bit to select a game but when I got past loading screen and to the title screen, it would not start the game. I looked and the controller identified itself as controller #2. the other one when I connected it, displayed as controller #3 and so on.

Hope that's enough of a problem description?

Things I've done already...

1. removed the PS3 driver and rebooted
2. let the other two controllers sleep before trying to connect a single controller.
3. checked bluetooth to see if it would recognize it as controller #1.
