      As per title, really.

SFEx runs in lr-mame2010 but painfully slowly, lr-mame2003 and 2003plus aren't interested and nor is FBNeo.

Thunder Blade is playable but a bit slow and scratchy in lrmame2010, while the graphics are messed up in lr-mame2003/plus. It seems to run smooth and fast in FBNeo, with the tiny hitch that absolutely none of the controls except insert coin, start and the two fire buttons work.

If it was possible to have Thunder Blade playable in MAME2003-plus it would have done already, but since it's not why dont you try it
in one of the older advance MAME ports.?? you should get better performance using one of those cores vs MAME2010.

@arcadez2003 just for interest: why should he use an older version of AdvanceMame?
          Thunderblade also runs with v3.8.
I use AdvanceMame since the the beginning and my experience is that only one single game does not work with the newer 3.x but only with 0.9x: Outfoxies.

Thunder Blade seems to work fine with FBNeo - it's using the analog controls and the buttons work.

@arcadez2003 Sadly none of the advmames or mame4all or lr-mame2000 seem to be interested :(

@SpudsMcToole as mentioned: Thunderblade is running well with AdvanceMame, if you mean "running" by saying "is interested in".

@mitu Unfortunately I'm using a digital arcade joystick and can find no way to change the controls.

Did you try to use the Analog-to-Digital settings for RetroArch to make the D-Pad appear as an analog device ?

@SpudsMcToole it is an option im retroarch/controls which allows you to activate the analog stick for directional Inputs in addition to the d-pad.
Same as if you set in (Advance)Mame the inputs for directions to the d-pad as well as to the analog axis.

I did this for all emulators btw 😉

@sirhenrythe5th Just did it by changing the User 1 Input Binds under Settings>Input, then Saving Autoconfig. Really really hope I haven't just saved a new set of control overrides for all FBNeo games :(
