    I've seen similar posts so far about HDMI problems but so far none have been solved. I'm running Retropie on my Raspberry Pi 4 and I've been struggling for a while with the HDMI output. At first, I had no output at all but after some work on the config file, I now have an output and audio up until about five minutes into playing a game. As far as I can tell there is no problem with the connection when on the home screen or in the settings.
    Here are my config settings:

    #hdmi_safe=1
    #hdmi_force_hotplug:0=1
    hdmi_mode:0=4
    hdmi_group:0=1
    #hdmi_drive=2
    config_hdmi_boost=4

        I just updated to the Beta version for Raspberry Pi 4 and it seems to be working. Thanks!
