The image is not out yet, but @BuZz bumped the version to 4.0.1

@bmn001 I agree completely! Thank you very much talented developers and enthusiasts! Because of you I can relive Zelda - Minish Cap, Ocarina of Time, Link to the Past, Links Awakening. Super Metroid, Zero Mission. Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, ISS Pro 2. Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Super Mario World. With every new version I donate $10, and I've so since 3.6 when I bought my RPI2, now I'm on RPI3 4.0.1. I really hope you continue to put together a rock solid package for multi-system emulation. In three years we're on RPI6 and emulate GC and PS2. Then, we'll be playing Zelda Wind Waker and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas...

              Thanks :-)

(ps. there won't be an image for 4.0.1 but you can update from retropie-setup)

Is it just a script update or are there emulator patches too?

@Ekstreme no binaries have been rebuilt, but some emulators are constantly updated of course as we pull in external projects

So AdvMame was removed in 4.0 it seems? Don't see a rom folder for it nor the choice for default emulator when starting Arcade games. But the configs seem to still be there.

                    RetroPie v4.2 • RPi3 Model B • 5.1V 2.5A PSU • 8GB SanDisk class 10 microSD • 16GB External USB Thumb Drive
Roms, images and configs stored in USB and symlinked from normal microsd location
Xarcade Keyboard encoder + Zero Delay Joystick encoder

You can install it from packages -> optional. The pre-made image was stripped down to a smaller selection. If you upgrade instead of a fresh install it would still be installed. (Not sure why you are posting that here - you should start a new topic for help)
