I am trying to upgrade my joysticks to Sanwa. To do this i also need to replace the usb control board (old one is old and cheap). Are there any directions to do this? Or could someone walk me through this process?
      thank you
      derek

@dbld2122 Are you sure you need new usb encoders for that? I use two Sanwa sticks and my encoders are really cheap, generic ones, like this or this.

Yes i am switching to what is in your second picture. The old USB encoders look nothing like those. sorry i am very new to all of this.

It's basically just: plug it all in and then set up your controls in emulationstation. If you're nervous about it, there are lots of tutorials on Youtube to familiarize and educate yourself. Make sure your encoder comes with a Sanwa connection cable, then it shouldn't be too hard.
