Retro pie stopped to detect controllers
-
Hi,
I'm pretty new to all of this. My roommate has a rasberry pie 3 Model B and we play games on Retro pie installed on it. Everything was working fine until yesterday and i don't know what happened but it was not detecting the second controller yesterday.
And Today when tried it again it just shows no game pads detected as soon as it boots up. I tried running jstest dev/js0 (also tried js1 and js2) but it just says no such file or directory.Power supply used: It's the adapter we got with raspberry pie. We directly plug it into the outlet.
RetroPie Version: I'm not sure about this and i don't know how to find thisI would really appreciate it if someone can help me with this.
Thanks

Can you add the rest of the information asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ? You left out the most important part - what controller(s) are you using and how are they connected.

@mitu Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for missing out the required information. I'm adding the controllers used and the emulator below. I don't have knowledge on the other information asked.
Controllers used wired SNES USB controllers. (NEXT game controller)
Emulator: EmulationStation -
There's little info here, but if the controller is not detected at all (even in EmulationStation), maybe there's something wrong with the controllers or the USB ports on the Pi. Do they get detected when plugged in a windows PC ?
