    Hi I am having issue installing retroarch on my rpi4. Below is the log for my installation. I assume it should be opengl library issue but I cannot seem to find a solution online.

    Pi Model or other hardware: rpi4b
    Power Supply used: 3A power supply
    RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.6.1
    Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website, Berryboot, or on top of existing OS etc.. - please provide the filename of any image used): existing OS
    USB Devices connected: Hard drive
    Controller used: NA
    Error messages received: Please refer to the log
    Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant): NA
    Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide) NA
    File: (File with issue - with FULL path) Please refer to the log
    Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable) NA
    Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
    How to replicate the problem: NA

      For the 4.6.1 you should have the binary installation available - why aren't you installing from binary ?

        @mitu for retroarch it seems only source installation option is available

          There is a binary installation available for Pi4.

          What OS image did you use for installation ?

            @mitu i am using stock raspbian

            Linux raspberrypi 4.19.97-v7l+ #1294 SMP Thu Jan 30 13:21:14 GMT 2020 armv7l GNU/Linux

              Which version - the Lite or the Desktop version ? Did you do any re-configuration for the system ?

                @mitu i believe it was the lite version and i did not reconfigure any system settings. The source.list is also pointing to raspbian buster.

                  I think the reason your install doesn't work is because you modified your config.txt and removed the GL driver overlay - loaded by default and which is necessary for RetroPie to work on the Pi4 model.
                  Any reason you're not using the RetroPie image ?

                    @mitu Can you help check if my config.txt is wrongly configured?

                    The reason why I insist on installing on existing os is that I am using hard drive for os and I try not to flash the image as it means I need to overwrite the hard drive.

                      @Floppy No, it's not correct - you disabled the necessary overlay for the GL driver, which is unsupported on the Pi4.

                        @mitu you mean i should uncomment #dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d?
