    Pi 4, 4GB of ram
    Raspberry Pi USB-C AC adapter
V 4.6 downloaded from the site, updated to latest version through ethernet

How do I save my advance mame settings?
I hit tab, set up the games to run how I want.. but if I reset or change games I have to do it all again.

I didn't see a save config option anywhere.

Sorry, got ahead of myself and added the requested info!
Didn't think it was as needed on general discussions.

        Thank you!

advmame automatically saves anyupdated setting on exit it you have "config save_at_exit" in your advmame.rc file. You can find it in ~/.advance/advmame.cfg.

Unfortunately there is a bug they are working on that may also require you to set "misc_smp no". This isn't ideal as it turns off multiprocessor support for this emulator. That said I didn't notice much impact on a Pi4.

Once you have done that when you exit advmame normally (i.e. whatever you set the ui_cancel function to.

There is a thread I found and commented on earlier today as I was struggling with exactly the same issue.
