Micro Mages (NES), Tanglewood (MD), Pico-8 and more for at least $5

Hi all,
There's currently a bundle running on itch.io called "Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality" where, for 5$ or above you can get over 1.600 games.
The reason I'm posting it here is that:
- Tanglewood is a MegaDrive game released recently, and that received several accolades. I believe you get the
- Micro Mages is an awesome 1-4-player NES platformer. Great fun to play with players of all ages (well, at least one fairly experienced gamed in the group will help). I finished it with my 4- and 6-year old boys earlier in the year.
- The PICO-8 is a... fantasy console? Let me try again: "The PICO-8 is a fantasy console for making, sharing and playing tiny games and other computer programs". The interesting thing for me is that it runs on the Raspberry Pi, it can easily be installed on RetroPie, and it harkens back to the days of the ZX Spectrum where almost anyone could create simple and fun games without requiring large teams. There's quite a few fun games there - all of them free - and people actively use it for prototyping and developing games in game jams (Ludum dare and others) as well as just for fun. The original Celeste was made here, and there's plenty of other games to get there.
If you want to get some legal content for your RetroPie setup, get lots of other games and support a cause in the process, I hope this helps.
If you find any other games or content there that can be fun for other RetroPie users, do flag it - it's currently at over 1.600 games and I haven't managed to review them all.
Hope this post causes no offense.

That bundle is amazing. Micro Mages is a fun game with very nice sprites, I love it. Tanglewood is a 2018 version, but not the final one. I can't even guess what to do many times and there are not many enemies. It is very well done but as I see it it requires a bit more of action.
If I find any other rom I'll write about them here, so we can expand our retro style games.

@REK607 oh, was there another version of it? I had actually bought both of these on Steam in the past, but I assumed they'd be the same.
I do love Micro Mages, and the PICO-8 also has a fair bit of fun games there which, if it'd help, I could gladly put together a list for. I just never saw a lot of interest in it around here - which, to be fair, isn't surprising given that it's quite niche :)
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
