The platform name is correct, so scraping should get some results when using ScreenScraper as the source. If you don't, then add more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first, and specify which games you tried scraping.

I also noticed there's no gamelist file in the rom folder. I would think scraping would have created one?

The gamelist is created by EmulationStation regardless of any scraping operation. By default is not in the roms' folder.

@REK607 oh, was there another version of it? I had actually bought both of these on Steam in the past, but I assumed they'd be the same.

I do love Micro Mages, and the PICO-8 also has a fair bit of fun games there which, if it'd help, I could gladly put together a list for. I just never saw a lot of interest in it around here - which, to be fair, isn't surprising given that it's quite niche :)

@rubberdinghy You'll need to ask the seller to provide the Raspberry Pi version - https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php?#getpico8 - and then follow the instruction on their site to add a new system in Emulationstation.

You can use xboxdrv or linuxjoystickmapper. I'm emulating 32 different systems and I have all of them set to exit with 'Select'+'Start'.
