Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Logitech Wireless Keyboard
Controller used: Logitech Wireless Keyboard

How to replicate the problem: After booting the Pi Retropie seemed to be running normally but whenever I try to get into any of the configuration menus I only get a black screen. Everything else displays normally except for the menu options like raspi-config or retropie setup (any of the menu choices that take you to the blue options screen). It may be worth noting that I am able to back out of this black screen and go back into emulation station. -
If you have a 4k tv/monitor, then use
raspi-configand change your default video resolution to 1080p.
