      Hi all,

It's been all these years I have been enjoying my Raspberry Pi 1 Mobel B with 512 MB of memory. This device has been running Raspbian so far and has been very useful.

Yesterday I installed the latest version of Retropie for 'Raspberry Pi 0/1'.

To my surprise, the OS only reports 256MB of memory (checked through ssh).
Is that expected? If not, how can I tell it to use the full 512MB?

'cat /proc/meminfo' (or the 'top' command) used to report 512MB RAM available under Raspbian.

      Thank you.

I think so - the rest of the memory may be reserved for the GPU, since it's used by both the front-end (EmulationStation) and the emulators.
