Maybe you didn't enable the verbose/debug logging when launching the game ? Enable it - as explained in the doc page I previously linked - and then get the file immediately after you exit the game - launching another game will overwrite the file.

OK, works. I have to press a button on a keyboard not the gamepad.

The log file doesn't show any remaps or additional configurations being loaded, the only thing that's different from a default run is the auto-loading of the save state.

Does the problem appears with any game or just with a certain games ? Did you use the 'Save Configuration' from the RetroArch's RGUI to save your settings at any point ?

Every game i've tested (i have only 3 gameboy games) and every core.

There was a remap file but i've moved it to be sure the problem is not the remap file. But its the same with or without the file.

              Post your configuration files then:

              • the system's RetroArch's configuration from /opt/retropie/configs/gb/retroarch.cfg.
              • the controller's configuration file from /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads.

@Carey said in D-Pad doesn't work after Update:

...I can control the cores with the left stick but i'm not sure this is normal....

Call me crazy, but is this as simple as pressing the 'MODE' button on the controller? The Logitechs have a button that swaps the D-Pad with the left analog stick. I think they also have a light that turns on when you are in this mode.

Also double check the switch on the back if you have one. It has X or D setting. I believe you want X in most cases.

So, did the D-Pad worked or not in EmulationStation ?
