      Hi All,
Can I select 2 players and alternate player 1 and Player 2 on games like Centipede, Dig Dug and Pacman etc? Or do I need a 2nd Zero Delay board?
I have a Full size Arcade Cabinet that I retrofit with an RPI3 (Powered by a 5v 2amp charger) and Retropie "Arcade Classics " build currently at version 4.4.12.
I am using 1 SJJX Zero delay controller with:
      6 Buttons - Start, Select, A, B, X,Y
      1 American Style Arcade Joystick - 8-Way
I have a USB Trakball, and a USB Spinner that I have plugged into a Sabrent USB Hub so I can turn them off and on when I need them.
      Thanks,
      Ziggy

If the game supports 2 players alternatively (and the original board has only 1 set of player inputs), then a 2nd controller is not necessary - just like on the original arcade.

But I would still need a Player 2 Start Button right?

Not necessarily - you can remap one of the existing buttons (X/Y/L/R) to be the P2 start. For the games you mentioned, it wouldn't be a problem, since they have very few buttons.
