@artik said in DIY Spinner:
aren't you capturing a signal on both the X and Y axis? How do you translate to a one axis signal to emulate a spinner?
As mentioned in the docs: "Once configured, the Player 1 DIAL control (spinner, steering, etc.) receives input from the X-axis of the mouse device,"

@UDb23 Sorry to revive this old thread, but is there a possibility you could share the stl files? for v2? I am currently making a spinner and I think the knob is exactly what I am looking for!
-
@UDb23 Do you have a link where I can order the bearing?
Did I understand correctly?
You stuck black paper on the bottom?
Without cutouts?Edit:
I found, sorry (KFL08 8mm) -
@shantigilbert Think I still got the files; let me check.
-
@treki I cut out the cardboard to have more or less the same shape of the round moving bottom part of the bearing.
-
@UDb23 Sorry, my english is terrible. I not understand exactly....

@treki Cardboard should be applied like this (red area)
If the knob and bar you bought are fitting the bearing they look good to go.

No lamella needed? The optical mouse understood this like a black table?
Cool ^^ -
@treki Yes. Just make sure cardboard is not too thick; should be able to rotate freely.

Can I then ask you if I have a issues? It seems that needs a specific arcade1up controller; without it won't work.
