I read this post and had a couple of questions for myself.
    Re: USB Automatic Mount Question

Does anyone know about how long it takes for the mount method to copy onto ssd? I have a 128gb sd card preloaded with retropie on a nespi 4 with sata 3.1 connection which doesn't have a light. I saw a video that recommends using something comparable to the 3.1 connection it has. I do have a sata 3.0 connector that has a light on it, although I'm not sure if it is the best option from what I have heard. Does anyone have any recommendations?

assuming an SSD plugged into the sata 3.1: 128000/18.2MBsec = approx 2 hours.

      it's a one off transfer so I don't think it's worth getting a light.
