Where are AdvMESS config files saved?

I'm running various systems through AdvMESS/AdvMAME, and I've configured various individual settings (eg joystick buttons) for lots of different games. But I've messed something up in one (let's call it SPACEBLASTER) and I can't find how to fix it from the Tab menu.
(I haven't screwed up the whole system, every other game still works fine.)
Presumably there's a SPACEBLASTER.CFG file saved somewhere with the dodgy settings in it, but I can't work out where. Can anyone tell me where they're stored? Ta.

advmameandadvmessconfiguration files are under$HOME/.advnance- namedadvmame.rc/advmess.rc. Game specific configurations are saved there, prefixed with the game/romset name.
