      Hi all,

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this. New user, so forgive me if not.

Is there any way to have a CDi emulator running through Retropie? How about a pinball system (Vpinball, Pinmame etc)?

      Thanks

Yes, you can use mame or lr-mess to run them, but you'll have to configure the new system yourself. See

        • https://retropie.org.uk/docs/MESS/ if using MESS
        • https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/28462 for a similar approach when using MAME. Although the post doesn't specifically details the Phillips CDi system, the steps for adding a new system based on MAME are the same.

RetroPie doesn't ship any emulator capable of running those. Not sure if they have a Linux version.

In general, you can add your own systems in EmulationStation/RetroPie if you have a working emulator installed, even if said emulator is not included in RetroPie - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Add-a-New-System-in-EmulationStation/.
