Retropie Setup > Manage Packages > Manage Experimental Packages
Flycast (which replaces Reicast) is found in the Optional Packages
Scroll down to ... 222 lr-flycast

Should I remove reicast completely? Then add the new emulators? Or is it fine to leave it as an option? Thanks for everything.
Yeah, i would remove it .. because after you try Redream or Flycast you'll never use Reicast again :)
Plus .. Reicast has issues. Have a quick read of the link below

@dreamcastkid I did remove it. I also had to change my rom file names to .cdi. Everything seems to be working now. Now my issue is getting Saturn to run lol. I know this one has lots of issues but I do have the menu up and running with the space ship and background. Now just trying to get the roms up and running. Thanks for everything.

@minimanzer0 I had to change the file names with the extension .cdi. that seemed to fix it.

Glad you got it working.
Personally, i've compressed all my Dreamcast games from .gdi (not to be confused with .cdi) to .chd and the work fine and saves a ton disk space !
example: compare these chd sizes with you cdi's

@dreamcastkid I spoke too soon. I’m only seeing the menu. When I click play it says disc not inserted. Back to the drawing board.

sounds like you haven't installed Redream or Flycast yet ... forget about trying to use Reicast.

@dreamcastkid I loaded both and removed reicast. I’ll try and remove everything and start over.

And make sure you are not trying to play a Dreamcast WINCE game ... because they won't work in any Dreamcast Emulator in the Raspberry Pi.
