Fire button not working on Atari 2600 games

I am now onto my next issue and opened another thread as I suspect these might help people in the future as I get them all fixed one at a time.
My next issue is with the Atari 2600 emulator, using 2 games as example..
Pitfall...on my c64 competition pro the wrong button ( the right button) makes him jump and not the left one that I want.
Space Invaders none of the buttons work at all
How do I get it so the left button on joystick acts as fire button like in all the other emulators.

Sorted it
Pressed hotkey and X
Went into options
then controls
the changed auto 3 (key x) to fireproblem solved!
