@TheSausageKing after you map the keyboard are you pressing the button you mapped as "a" to ok the configuration? Once you do it, it can take 20 secs or so sometimes for the configuration to take effect.
Got it. You have to go to the individual emulator retroarch.cfg file. This is what mine looks like now for atari2600 and it works.
# Settings made here will only override settings in the global retroarch.cfg if placed above the includes.
input_remapping_directory = "/opt/retropie/configs/atari2600/"
input_enable_hotkey = "escape"
input_exit_emulator = "escape"
rbaker! WoW thanks. It some mucking around, trial and error but I got it mostly to work, actually it works I maped the joystick and fire button and that akk you need in lots of 2600 games. I need to figure out the other keyboard maps and Im done.
HaHa ;) If this would be made than I think @mediamogul has no excuse for trying this in hardcore mode.
How else am I supposed to get the hardcore 'Rage Quit' achievement? It would be funny to have an achievement that registers an exit from the game within a small window of time. It could be called, 'Eh.... no. I don't think so.'
@crumbs what resolution is your tv? When you select a game it pops up press a button to configure and either remove any video settings you have set or set it to the resolution of your tv and see if that helps.
