AutoLogin not working
-
For some reason everything has gone a bit wrong this morning.
I have a Pi400 running the latest official release from here.it starts up and shows the retropie splash screen but then goes to the terminal prompt.
I have tried looking at the docs here:https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#why-emulationstation-doesnt-start-automatically-after-an-update
but they seem to be out of date as Option 3 is 'interface options' and although does not have the choices as instructed by the docs.Am I missing something obvious?
Also, if I try to start ES via the command line I get this...
pi@retropie:~ $ emulationstation
-bash: emulationstation: command not found -
@chubsta may as well update this...
somehow, between turning it all off last night when everything was fine and starting it up again this morning ES had somehow been deleted! I tried to reinstall it, which worked up to a point - auto login, main system menu came up, but then if I tried to look at a system's gameslist it crashed - have decided to do a clean install and start again from scratch...
will probably never know what happened!

will probably never know what happened!"Raspberry Pi 400 - overclocked to 2.3GHz" ?
Or just bad luck/failing SD card?

@busywait think it is a failing as card as i was unable to write a new image to it although it seemed to format ok.
regarding the oc, have decided to try 2375 this time, seems to be working ok!!
