Hello, I’ve finally formatted my sd card last night and load up the latest 4.3 version (start fresh), all roms running ok except nds & psp which I’ve put the roms in the correct folder with the correct format however couldn’t even see the psp & nds icon on the main page…

I though retropie would have all the main emulators (including nds & psp) pre-installed, really not sure why only these 2 not working but others are fine.

I’ve tried to manually install the ppsspp emulator from the source (took me around an hour) and then restart emulation station still nothing show up.

      thanks in advance!

@ken1402 if you have an es_systems.cfg located in /opt/retropie/configs/allemulationstation/ delete it and restart emulationstation. Drastic, ppsspp and lr-ppsspp are not installed by default because to keep the image size down they had to limit it to the most popular systems. Most psp game are slower than molasses and the nds requires a mouse. And they arent anywhere remotely as popular as nes, atari 2600/7800, snes, n64, c64, genesis, sega cd, turbografx and stuff like that.

@edmaul69 thanks for the reply edmaul69! i'll try to delete the file and see if the 2 emulators are showing.
i've got the ppsspp setup however can't seem to find drastic on the list.. will go through the list one more time in case i've missed it.

and yes i've set up the psp & the nds folders under roms

            will try and see

@ken1402 I think the DraStic emulator is in the experimental section of the RetroPie packages, so it might not be in the same list with other emulators (i.e. PPSSPP is in the optional section).

@ken1402 next time dont create your own folders. When you install an emulator for a system it will create its own folders with proper permission settings.

@edmaul69 I just want to say thank you so much. I wasted an entire day researching and trying to resolve this problem. Finally found this thread and your solution (deleting the es_systems.cfg located in /opt/retropie/configs/allemulationstation/ file fixed it in 3 minutes. Thank you!
